Já tinha lido o único livro traduzido cá em Portugal, mas falaram-me tão bem desta autora e recomendaram-me este livro que não resisti e peguei nele. Temos uma mulher forte, que sofre abusos do seu padrasto, pois tanto ele como a mãe vendem e consomem droga, e ela acaba por ir tentar arranjar um trabalho numa quinta, e tem nada mais nada menos do que o seu chefe que é o Ian Parker, que está sempre acompanhado com pessoas. Hazel acaba por ser despejada de casa porque já tem idade para se desenvincilhar-se sozinha, segundo o seu padrasto, e acaba por ir dormir na quinta ao relento. O Chefe da quinta acaba por falar com o Ian, visto que ele tem um quarto a mais, que pode ceder para que ela durma lá. É uma história apaixonante, que não conseguimos parar de ler e ver como é que vai ficar a relação entre estes dois. Adorei!!!!

Sinopse:

She’s the only family I have left. Meanwhile, Ian’s band is taking off; his dreams are coming true. Ian is my one chance at love. I just hope he doesn’t become the one chance that got away.
